Before you take your photos
- Tap 0.5× on your camera. It's the wide lens: the small ".5" button next to "1×" near the shutter. It fits the whole room in one photo.
- Step inside the room. Walk in and stand in a corner. Don't take photos from the hallway or doorway, or you'll get door frames and half a room.
- Turn your phone sideways. Every photo, every room.

How
- Lights on, blinds open. The more natural light, the better.
- Hold it level, at chest height. Don't tilt up or down.
- Two hands, hold still. Or lean on a wall.
- Wipe the lens. No flash, no filters.
- No people in the photos. Most MLSs don't allow them, and we can't remove them. Ask everyone to step out of the room.
- Clean up first: counters clear, toilet lids down, cars out of the driveway.
What to photograph
- Living, dining, family rooms: from a corner, aim diagonally across. One or two corners each.
- Kitchen: two or three angles, plus one straight in.
- Primary bedroom: two photos from two corners.
- Other bedrooms: one photo, standing just inside the door in a corner.
- Bathrooms: step all the way in. Stay out of the mirror by crouching or standing to the side. Skip the toilet.
- Front of the house: straight on (used for your twilight), one from an angle, and a close-up of the front door.
- Backyard: the yard, the back of the house, and any deck, patio or pool.

Take your photos first with your phone's Camera app (0.5× lens, standing inside each room), then pick them all here at once. Tip: in the picker, tap the first photo and drag your finger across to select many in one move. You can add more in several batches.
